Welcome to conomad.lk (“conomad”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website located at https://conomad.lk and any related services, features, or content we offer (collectively, the “Service”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Definitions

  • “User”, “you”, or “your” means any person who accesses or uses the Service.
  • “Content” means any text, images, data, listings, reviews, or other materials available through the Service.
  • “User Content” means any Content that you submit, post, or upload to the Service.
  • “DBI Ceylon (Pvt) Ltd” means the company or sole proprietor operating conomad.lk, registered in Sri Lanka.

2. Eligibility

To use the Service, you must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and capable of forming a legally binding contract. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.


3. Accounts

Some features may require you to create an account. When you do, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
  • Keep your login credentials confidential and secure.
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notify us promptly at hello@conomad.lk of any unauthorized use.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being misused.


4. Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Infringe the rights of any other person or entity.
  • Upload viruses, malware, or any harmful code.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users’ accounts.
  • Scrape, copy, or harvest data from the Service without our written permission.
  • Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications.
  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.

5. Bookings, Listings & Payments

  • All prices are listed in [Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) / other currency] and are inclusive/exclusive of applicable taxes as indicated at checkout.
  • Bookings or orders are confirmed only once you receive a confirmation from us.
  • Payment is processed through third-party payment providers. We do not store full payment card details.
  • Cancellations, refunds, and changes are governed by our [Cancellation / Refund Policy], available at [LINK].
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any booking or order at our discretion, for example in cases of suspected fraud or pricing errors.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of any User Content you submit. By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, host, display, and distribute it for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and confirm that you have the right to share it. We may remove any User Content that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, without notice.


7. Intellectual Property

All Content on the Service that is not User Content — including the conomad.lk name, logo, design, text, and graphics — is owned by or licensed to DBI Ceylon (Pvt) Ltd and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute it without our prior written consent.


8. Third-Party Links & Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party. Accessing them is at your own risk, and their own terms apply.


9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, regarding the Service, including its accuracy, reliability, or availability.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.


10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DBI Ceylon (Pvt) Ltd and its officers, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service will not exceed [the amount you paid us in the [3] months before the claim / LKR [amount]].


11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DBI Ceylon (Pvt) Ltd from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your User Content, or your breach of these Terms.


12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, the provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.


13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.


14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Colombo], Sri Lanka.
